folks I’m back! Hopefully, not back for awhile and then gone again kinda back. Apologies for the unannounced hiatus, took a lil’ break from blogging but am still following the music closely. So here I bring to you one of the remixes from the much anticipated The Faint‘s Mirror Error single. (the only one that probably won’t get me in Web Sheriff’s territory anyway.) Please do yourself a favour and buy the really bloody fricking amazing Das Glow remix over HERE, highly highly highly recommended (I myself spend the money to get my copy and it is damn well worth it!) Now I just wana hear it on like a million dollar soundsystem.

Or Moderat. There will be a new album from these German B-Pitch boys coming out somewhere this year. All of you better keep a lookout as I am sure it is not to be missed. Now I’ve came across few old collabos between the B-Pitch lineups, go listen. See last year I hugged and shook hands with the very beautiful Ellen Allien and she said she’d be back at Zouk this year too, can’t wait.
Moderat – Mode 2
Ellen Allien and Apparat – Jet
This is to die for. Big thanks to Asian Dan bringing us the Dada Life remix of the Timelord’s Doctoring the Tardis. Which is essentially the theme for my favourite TV series ever! Sadly, the fifth season of Doctor Who won’t be out this year and David Tennant is not continuing as The Doctor. However, there would be 4 one-hour specials starring Tennant with the first one airing this easter. Exterminate!!! Exterminate!!!!!

Legend has it that Frankie Knuckles and friends created house music in the “Warehouse” club in Chicago. Then three college nerds from Detroit messed with the elements of it and came up with the first real techno. After these tunes got into the radar of Europeans, the world of dance music and night clubs were never the same. Here are two of the classical gems from the Detroit Techno genre.
